Snap a photo, add the details

Photograph anything you own and log its room, value, condition and serial number. On Basic and Pro, AI suggests the name, category, brand and an estimated value from the photo; on Free you type the details yourself, 3 items a day.

Insurance-ready PDF on Pro

Pro exports a PDF listing each item with its room, category, condition, brand and value, plus totals by room. Basic and Pro also export CSV. Keep the list current so you're not rebuilding it from memory after a loss.

Rooms, categories and household sharing

Every item is tagged with both a room and a category, so you can browse by where something lives or by what it is. On Pro, invite family members to a shared household with owner and member roles, and everyone can add items to the same inventory without passing one login around.

Duplicate detection and warranty reminders

On Pro, HomeBox flags items that look like ones you already logged and surfaces multiples when you are decluttering. Basic and Pro include warranty email reminders before coverage runs out.

Is HomeBox an app I download?

HomeBox is a mobile web app — open gethomebox.app on your iPhone or Android phone and start cataloguing. There is no store install required, so nothing takes up space on your device and you are always on the latest version. Add it to your home screen and it opens like any other app.

Is there a HomeBox Android app?

HomeBox runs in your Android browser (Chrome recommended); there is no separate Play Store app yet — open gethomebox.app and add it to your home screen for an app-like shortcut. The camera and photo storage work in the browser; AI recognition is on Basic and Pro, and PDF exports are on Pro.
